Father David D. Reed was ordained as a United Methodist pastor in 1979 and served as a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy for 21 years. After retirement David was named Director of the Wesley Foundation at Old Dominion University. He was appointed Pastor of Staunton’s Central United Methodist Church in 2001 and retired in 2008. Upon his retirement David served as the executive director of the Valley Mission. In January 2015 David was ordained as a Deacon within the Anglican Church in North America & was ordained a Priest in Spetember 2015.
Father David is the founding Priest and first Vicar of Christ the King.
Father David is also an avid camper and sports fan. He particularly loves the Kentucky Wildcats!
